Polychrome Jasper coloring is from iron oxides, containing any combination of reds, browns, yellows and greens. It is a newer find from Madagascar. Geologists discovered Polychrome Jasper 2006 while mining for Ocean Jasper. Polychrome Jasper also goes by the names Royal Savannah Jasper and Desert Jasper.
