Amazonite is a member of the Feldspar group. It has a green to greenish gray color and is often found with Smoky Quartz inclusions. Amazonite may also have Albite, Tourmaline and other mineral inclusions. It is named by Johann Friedrich August Breithaupt in 1847, for being found near the Amazon River
