Miyuki is Japan's oldest seed bead manufacturer. Their Japanese seed beads are world-famous for being high-quality, uniform in size and shape, and available in a wide variety of beautiful colors and finishes.
In Japanese 'Maga' means curved or bent; 'tama' means precious stone or gem. Magatama (勾玉 or 曲玉) dates back to the Neolithic period, and are typically made of stone, glass or jade. Their curved shape is thought to represent animal teeth and claws.
