Tiffany Stone is the trade name for the brecciated variety of Fluorite. It has a fine-grained purple swirl pattern and may also contain Bertrandite, Chalcedony, Opal, and/or Quartz. It is also known as Opalized Fluorite. It is a soft stone that scratches easily. Therefore, Tiffany Stone should be used in jewelry designs that won't be subjected too much wear and scuffing.
 
Mined in limited amount, Tiffany Stone is only found in Utah at Spor Mountain, making this a rare stone.
