Agate is a variety of translucent Chalcedony ranging in many colors due to mineral inclusions.

Pink Amethyst
Pink Amethyst, a new and rare type of Quartz, is only found in the Patagonia area of Argentina. An analysis shows the color of Pink Amethyst is created by Iron that has been exposed to natural radiation and microscopic Hematite fragments, making Pink Amethyst different from Rose Quartz.
