Danburite

 

Danburite is a calcium boron silicate mineral that is usually colorless, like quartz, but can also be either pale yellow, yellowish-brown or pale pink. It is often mistaken for Topaz.  This mineral was first discovered, described and named after the city of Danbury, Connecticut in 1839 by Charles Shepard.
