Agate is a variety of translucent Chalcedony ranging in many colors due to mineral inclusions.

Dragon Skin Agate is made from various types of Agate that has been heated then dipped into cold water or oil creating the 'crackled' vein appearance.  Dragon Skin is also known as Dragon Vein and Fire Agate.
