Rhodonite, also known as Manganese Spar and Manganolite, is a pink manganese silicate mineral with iron, magnesium and calcium. It's usually found in metamorphic rocks. Rhodonite often contains black manganese oxides which occur as dendrites, fracture-fillings, or matrix.
