Cobaltoan, also known as Sphaerocobaltite, is a form of Calcite where Cobalt replaces Calcium creating a bright pink crystals.
Calcite is a carbonate mineral and the most stable poly-morph of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). It is found in sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks.
