Smoky Mountain Beads is a small, home-based business located in upper East Tennessee between Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway.  All jewelry is handmade and handcrafted with superior quality supplies.  I travel to Tucson, AZ, Las Vegas and Albuerque, NM to search the best gemstones and findings to create my designs.

Being nestled in the mountains has always provided a serenity for me that sparks my artistic creativity.  While the annual show of leaf colors create a spectacular display, spring is also an inspiration with all the blooming flowers.  I use leaves and other natural elements in some of my fine silver creations.

I am a Senior Certified Art Clay™ instructor teaching classes/workshops using metal clay techniques.  I am a member of the Art Clay Society which is a group of metal clay artists and enthusiasts, dedicated to the continuing education and inspiration.  The versatile, organic nature of metal clay allows for a freedom of design and I enjoy introducing artists to the techniques of creating fine silver jewelry.
